Wednesday, March 7 has been declared
World Read Aloud Day by
Lit World, an organization dedicated to ending world illiteracy. Our school was lucky to be matched with a guest reader for the day as an opportunity to participate in this world event! Fifth-grade sixth-hour Integrated Technology students will be Skyping with author
Ty Allan Jackson during their class time. He will be reading aloud to them and allowing them time to ask him questions about his writing and his life.
Ty Allan Jackson is the author of the books
Danny Dollar Millionaire: The Lemonade Escapade and
When I Close My Eyes. He lives in Pittsfield, Massachuttes.
